The Inaugural International Conference on Climate Change and Ecosystem Restoration (ICCCER-2024) was an extraordinary gathering of researchers, policymakers, conservationists, and community leaders, all united by a shared commitment to restoring our ecosystems and combating climate change. Held at the University of Eldoret, the 2024 conference provided an inspiring platform for thought-provoking discussions, groundbreaking research presentations, and meaningful collaborations.

With the theme “Rethinking Our Ecosystems,” the event focused on the unique challenges and opportunities in restoring the Great Rift Valley landscapes, fostering dialogue between academia, government, civil society, and the private sector. Working with the University of Eldoret was a truly rewarding experience, and we extend our deepest gratitude to the university for hosting and partnering with us in making ICCCER-2024 a resounding success. Their dedication to environmental sustainability and academic excellence played a pivotal role in ensuring a well-organized and impactful conference. From dynamic keynote speeches to interactive panel discussions and field excursions, participants left with fresh insights, renewed motivation, and stronger networks to drive action beyond the conference.
